Great dog friendly hotel. Had a little grassy courtyard right outside the room. Was able to let my little guy get some rolls and zoomies out. Pool and hot tub were great and the customer service was a 15/10!
Wonderful stay, clean, quiet rooms that are a good size. One wish - the fitness centre could open before 10:00am. Only other thing would be the appearance of the pool (maybe just excessive use from children, but did not feel comfortable using).
Nice staffs, clean room. Good to have a pool with jacuzzi but odd not to have proper shower area
close to revelstoke, probably the cheapest price for the location. not the worst hotel but not spectacular by any means, especially for the steep price. nonetheless for travelers and skiers alike it is definently an alright-good option to stay the night
Warm, friendly staff and a clean, functional room. We had an amazing sleep; the mattress was really comfy! Only stayed 1 night and didn’t have a chance to use the hot tub, but it looked really nice, too. Great price for a great stay.
Front Desk was very cordial and welcoming. Promptly upgraded my booking to a larger bed. Good recommendations for eating including onsite restaurant.
Although the beds and shower were fantastic, I was disappointed that the tv didn’t work. It was unplugged and I plugged it back in and it still didn’t work. I was going to call the front desk, but I was exhausted after driving for 12 hours and I was ready for bed. Also the people that were renting the room next door were so loud with their voices and slamming doors that it made me mad. They were talking loud from 1800-2130 when I finally fell asleep and again between 0500-0600 when I got up. This isn’t their home, but a hotel room. I did mention it to the front desk, but I could tell that they didn’t really care what I said.
My partner and I were in a pickle a few nights ago when our hotel mistakenly cancelled our reservation. It was -20 out and most hotels were sold out and wanting to charge north of $500 a night for a room. We had booked our room months ago at around $200. We came into the Sandman lodge hoping to find something reasonable, the manager Sean-Douglas was quite literally our angel. He gave us a comfortable room for a very reasonable compassionate rate instead of choosing to take advantage of our situation. He truly was, one of a kind and I hope that more people will follow his lead. Thank you Sean and Sandman Lodge! You truly saved the day for us.
